Lip Tattoo

Natural colour — around the clock

With lip tattooing (lip blush), I tint your lips in a soft, natural shade and define the contour — a fresh, fuller-looking finish with no filler involved. Non-toxic pigment tailored to your skin and lip colour. The result lasts 2–3 years and suits anyone who wants to skip reapplying lipstick every day.

About the Treatment

Fuller-Looking, Natural Lips Without Filler

Lip tattooing, also known as lip blush, is cosmetic tattooing that gives the lips an even, natural colour tone and a softly defined contour. I work with a shading technique that builds colour layer by layer, so the transition between lip and skin looks soft and the result stays lifelike — never outlined or "done".

The colour is tailored to your natural lip tone, skin tone and preferences — from a subtle "your lips, but better" shade to a more saturated tone. The technique can also even out uneven pigmentation and create the illusion of fuller, more symmetrical lips, without a single filler needle.

The pigment used is non-toxic and tested for sensitive skin. Before the treatment, you'll fill out a health declaration and sign a treatment agreement. Lip tattooing is not recommended during an active cold sore outbreak — please get in touch before booking if you experience frequent outbreaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Lip Tattooing

On average 2–3 years without a touch-up, depending on skin type and lifestyle. The colour fades gradually and softens over time into a more subtle shade.

Numbing cream is applied beforehand and maintained throughout the treatment, so the pain is minimal. Most people feel mostly light pressure or a slight vibrating sensation.

The lips swell slightly during the first 24–48 hours. On days 3–4 the skin may feel dry and start to flake, which is entirely normal. The surface heals within 5–7 days, but the final colour becomes fully visible after 4–6 weeks once the pigment has "bloomed".

Lip blush doesn't provide the same volume as filler, but a well-defined contour and soft shading can make the lips look fuller and more symmetrical.

Yes, the treatment suits most people regardless of age or natural lip colour. It's especially popular with those who want to even out uneven pigmentation or restore lost lip colour. If you have an active cold sore, the treatment should be postponed — please get in touch before booking if you have frequent outbreaks.

Yes, a touch-up after 6–8 weeks is recommended to fill in any gaps and deepen the colour. It's a normal part of the treatment.

Wait at least 7–10 days before using lipstick or other products on the lips, so the healing and pigment settling aren't disturbed.
