A tattoo is more than decoration — it's part of you. I take that responsibility seriously. Every client who sits in my chair gets honesty in return: if I think a design won't work, I'll say so, and if the idea is brilliant, I'll say that just as readily.
With a background in art and graphic design, and a life devoted to the craft of tattooing, I've worked on everything from discreet fine-line tattoos to large-scale full sleeves. The tattoo studio in Borås is open every day, and in Jönköping I see clients on Fridays. A free consultation is always included — it costs nothing to talk through your idea.
Before your tattoo, you'll fill out a health declaration and sign a treatment agreement. Minors need a signed authorisation from both guardians.

The price depends on the size, complexity and placement of the design on your body. I always agree on a price during the consultation — no unpleasant surprises at the till. A deposit of 30% of the agreed price is paid at booking and is fully deducted from the final price once the tattoo is complete.
It depends on where on the body and your individual pain tolerance. Most people describe it as a scratching, stinging sensation. I work at your pace and take breaks whenever you need them — your comfort during the session matters just as much as the result.
Yes, always. The consultation itself is free of charge, but a no-show or cancellation less than 72 hours in advance will incur a 500 SEK fee. We'll talk through your idea, look at reference images, discuss placement, and I'll give you a price estimate. I always work with a fixed price — if the clock runs a little longer, it makes no difference, because your satisfaction matters most to me. No deposit is charged until you've made your decision.
The surface layers of skin heal within 2–3 weeks — that's when peeling and redness should stop. The deeper healing, however, takes 3–6 months, and you should protect the tattoo from strong sun throughout that time. Avoid swimming in the sea, pools and hot tubs for the first 3–4 weeks. I work in most styles: realism, fine line, black and grey, traditional, neo-traditional, geometric, dotwork, tribal and old school. Get in touch if your idea falls outside these categories — custom designs are often the most interesting to work on.
Eat a proper meal before you arrive — your blood sugar affects how you feel during the session. Make sure you're well rested. Avoid alcohol the day before. Ideally wear dark clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. For longer sessions, feel free to bring something to eat and drink — coffee and chocolate are on me. Feel free to bring reference images and ideas you like.
No — for safety reasons we do not tattoo clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It's a protective measure for you and your child. Get in touch when you're ready, and I'll help you plan your tattoo in advance.
Your satisfaction matters most to me, so of course it's included — provided you've followed the aftercare instructions. I offer a free touch-up up to one year after your tattoo was done. Sometimes a small detail needs adjusting once the skin has fully healed, and that's part of the service, not an add-on.
